Yes, we’ve been designing, building, and transforming homes across the Lower Mainland for 12+ years - but Novawest has always been more than just a renovation company. It’s a business rooted in care, craftsmanship, and stewardship. And if you’re just finding us now, we’re glad you’re here.
What Drives Us
At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: your home should work for you - not just in function, but in feeling.
We started Novawest because we saw too many homeowners being treated like a checklist rather than a client. Jobs were rushed. Corners were cut. Communication was lacking. That did not sit right with us. So, we built something better.
Trevor brings an incredible problem-solving mindset to every project. Whether it’s figuring out how to make a space more functional or workshopping a complex structural challenge, he thrives on digging into the details. But it’s not just about what gets done - it’s how it gets done. Trevor believes in doing things with care, precision, and pride. No band-aid fixes. No shortcuts. No walking away. Just smart, honest solutions that last. And, the commitment to ALWAYS find a solution.
My background is in stewardship - from managing lands as an archaeologist representing BC’s First Nation Communities and properties that were not mine, to ensuring tenants had safe, respectful places to live. That experience taught me something powerful: taking care of something that does not belong to you is a responsibility, not a burden. Renovation is an extension of that same philosophy. When someone invites us into their home, it’s an act of trust. We treat every space like it's our own - because stewardship is in my bones.

Even though we have been in business for over a decade, we are always evolving. This blog is part of that evolution.
Every 2 weeks, we’ll be sharing ideas, tips, stories, and insights from the renovation world - not just to show what we do, but to help homeowners make informed, confident decisions.
